Hi there! I’m having a bit of trouble downloading this on my steam deck. I downloaded smapi and clicked on it in the downloaded file and I’ve extracted it into another file, but when I right click on the run on linux sh it doesn’t show me the run on konsole button, everytime I right click it just says “open” or “execute” instead of the run in console, and when I do open it it brings me to a text board and it just has a thing saying “internal/linux/SMAPI.Installer”, I’m not quite sure what to do after I click open, it allows me to type stuff in it but I haven’t as I don’t want to mess anything up, does anyone know what I need to do? Or when it’s in that section do I put the numbers in? I’m so confused please could anyone help me?😩

Will this make Fallout new vegas run poorly? I can't seem to get it up past 20fps after 10 minutes of play time. Starts out around 55 and then drops hard and stays there. Even indoors.

Hey, stupid question here, i'm not very tech savvy. Do i have to untick things like the defrag options periodically so the steam deck can do it's thing? Or does it only disable it while playing? And most importantly, thank you for all the work you do for us. You're a saint.

This game can run on less than a potato so there's no reason for square to not update this game for modern hardware to run at 4K 60 and beyond

my BCML application won't run. When I double click it on my desktop nothing happens. When I open the bcml folder I get "Could not find the program '~/miniconda3/bin/bcml' ". Please someone help me I'm at a loss of ideas

A tip: Attempting Sharpshooter 6 from a nearby cliff of a town will crash the game when attempting to aim with scope in center area of whatever town.

Used this guide recently on the steam deck OLED and I’m playing 720p with extra ram and some distances increased and getting a locked 40 except in city areas where it drop to 30-35 with stutters. Using Linux version of emulation, this guide is great and helped me a lot.

Does anybody else get the issue we’re occasionally the vram setting gets turned back to 1? And how to stop it.

Cryo 2 questions, 1st one, do we still need cryo utilities? since the updates from the main channel addressed alot of stuff that cryo utilities do. 2nd one, if im on batocera booting of a micro sd card does using cryo utilities and changing the UMA buffer size get utilized there since it's another boot option.

it always says press PAD or LS button and i don’t seem to have them on my steam deck? when i try to replace them in the controller settings it resets it bc there’s a button missing somewhere else! Help please? :(

How bad is the noise / heat?

BMCL refuses to open no matter what I do. I've confirmed i've got the right version of Miniconda. BMCL just refuses to open. Double clicking the link on desktop does nothing, and launching through application hits me with in error saying the bmcl cannot be found. UKMM isn't an option because the mods try to install on it won't convert. Really lost here.

This guide is now useless as Steam has updated the BIOS and Smokeless UMAF no longer works, no access to AMD CBS options just network device list and driver health manager. So sad I wanted to push my Steam Deck Oled to 20w and overclock
